Who we are
Commercial Water is a high-purity water treatment company that serves the medical, commercial, and industrial business communities of greater Kansas City. Our clients are diverse and range from hospital ICU’s to high-tech manufacturing and chemical manufacture.
We began in March 2003 out of a desire to provide honest and forthright business dealings with customers coupled with unrivaled customer service. The company underwent an expansion in 2009 and installed an ion-exchange regeneration plant at our Northtown, Kansas City facility, giving us more control over the timing of our service and quality of our resin.
How we have evolved
For more than 10 years, Commercial Water has met the needs for on-site water treatment by using a variety of methods, including carbon-bed filtration, ion-exchange purification, reverse-osmosis, ultraviolet light sanitation, and water softening. The company gives customized service to each account based on in-coming water quality and the specific product water they require. Our reputation for reliability has won a loyal base of customers. These customers’ word-of-mouth endorsements have created a steady upward growth trend for the company and a personally satisfying place to work for its owners and team members.
One word used to define Commercial Water is “Integrity.” Integrity sets us apart from other small businesses in that it is our guiding principle to treat others as we wish to be treated. It means doing the little extra things that may be overlooked by the customer, but which are important to doing each job right. We provide a decidedly “human” element to the esoteric realm of commercial and industrial water treatment by solving problems for people and deriving real satisfaction from providing solutions.
What does integrity mean to us?
We take ownership over the entirety of each job. Doing so reflects Commercial Water’s degree of commitment to doing what is right. Although the average customer will not have the hawkish standards we exercise, the job must not only function optimally, but it must also look good. The plumbing and equipment must be level and precise. Our standards dictate the customers’ complete satisfaction with their water system, which to us includes all the subtle markers of a job done by professionals.
Delivering just the water you need
Along the same lines, we practice integrity with forthright pricing when bidding a new job. Commercial Water practices common sense when “sizing” the system so the customer achieves the right water flow rate and water quality without paying for more than they need. We know that if the system is sized correctly, the customer will experience fewer problems with their water system. They can avoid the expense of future service calls and capital expenses to upgrade an inadequate system. Conversely, the customer can also avoid the expense and inefficiency of operating an oversized system. Fewer dollars will be spent with Commercial Water, but we feel that our reputation for trustworthiness will win repeat business in the future.
