Large regional zoological park needed to upgrade its water treatment system to fill a 500-1000 gal storage tank in less than 3 hours. The treated water is a key element of life support for exotic saltwater species showcased in a tightly controlled environment. Recognizing the sensitive nature and dependency of these sea creatures, Commercial Water collaborated with zoo life support specialists to design a reverse osmosis and filtration system. The system delivers water that has resulted in enhanced health and viability for coral, schooling fish, and jellyfish. Additionally, life support technicians can efficiently replenish three showcase aquariums with purified water from their storage tank in less time.
